Welcome to Snowsports Alpine ski Club
This site contains general information about who we are and what we do
We do not teach people how to ski. We provide an opportunity for children from age 8 - 18 to improve technique in a fun atmosphere.
To become a club member you must be at a level where you can use the lift systems unassisted as well as being able to produce linked turns over the full length of the slope.
If you have a child who is younger than 8 years of age their skiing must be assessed my a member of the coaching staff for an exemption to the rule to be made.
There is an opportunity for club members to participate in regular race training camps at specified times of the year - August, October half-term, Christmas, February half-term and Easter usually to either France, Austria or Switzerland. Additionally the camps at Christmas take in the BARSC series of races and at Easter take in the English and the British Championships.
Dry Ski Slope Training
SNOWSPORTS Race Club run training sessions on Wednesday evenings during term time, with exclusive use of the main slope.
The Race Club membership is now open
